Grade 6 Camp School
Per tradition, Grade 6 went to England from 5.5-12-5 for Camp School. During the trip they had a set agenda where they would take one or two day trips per day to some of the most wonderful sites in England. Some of these were the British Museum, Warwick Castle, Bath, Stonehenge, Black Country Museum, The Globe Theatre, Matilda the Musical, Oxford University, Thorpe Park, and Harry Potter Studios.
While there, the students stayed with host families in Abingdon. They ate meals with these families and had other interactions. The students also prepared and presented reports that they had worked on this Spring. In addition to reports on the places we visited, there were reports on British Culture, British Cuisine, British Sports, British Monarchy, and Tea Culture. The reports were presented on the bus. All in all, the students had a wonderful trip full of lifelong memories.
