Gr. 4 Where the food comes from?
Gr. 4 did some hands-on research related to their "Where food comes from" E.v.S unit.
After reading about milk production they had an alternative milk tasting. They also practiced ro read the stamps on eggs to find out how and where the egg was produced.
Later what was learned was put into good use researching the school lunch menu as part of a group project: What ingredients are in different meals and how they ended up on our plate?
